In television, Josephson produced the global hit series BONES on FOX, which aired for 12 seasons, as well as AMC’s period drama TURN: WASHINGTON’S SPIES, Amazon’s THE TICK, and the Netflix series ULTRAVIOLET. Additional television credits include FOX drama THE FINDER, ABC’s critically acclaimed MAXIMUM BOB and FANTASY ISLAND, and the anthology cable series TALES FROM THE CRYPT.
Upcoming film projects include animated feature FORESTINA for Warner Bros., MUTANT FOOTBALL LEAGUE for Skydance, and THE DIVE for 20th Century Fox. His upcoming TV projects include DOCTOR MECHANIC for Universal TV and COMEBACK for ABC Network.
He is also developing, financing and producing Broadway shows. Running currently are Tony Award-nominated productions JUST IN TIME, which originally starred Jonathan Groff as Bobby Darin, and THE LOST BOYS, a stage adaptation of the 1987 cult classic film.
Previously, Josephson was President of Worldwide Production for Columbia/Sony Pictures, responsible for launching such hits as MEN IN BLACK, AIR FORCE ONE, IN THE LINE OF FIRE, THE FIFTH ELEMENT, ANACONDA, BAD BOYS, THE PROFESSIONAL, and THE CRAFT. Josephson was VP of production at Silver Pictures, overseeing films such as DIE HARD 2, THE LAST BOYSCOUT and LETHAL WEAPON 3. He was a founder of Sandollar Films, which produced the cult classic feature BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER.
Josephson is a founding member of the charity Comic Relief as well as The Commitment to Life Benefit for AIDS Project LA. Josephson is a founder of Austin Film Festival and serves on the board of directors. He also serves as a Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA) Foundation Trustee.
